We purchased this 1966 Mustang convertible in June 2001. Following four months of top-down driving pleasure, we took the convertible to Kevin Yeargin at Carolina Pony Cars for a complete ground-up restoration. We followed the restoration progress every couple of weeks, watching as Kevin stripped the car down to bare metal and then began the process of sanding, painting, and reassembly. The restoration was completed at the end of May 2002, just in time to attend the Northeast Georgia National Mustang Show at which it received a Third Place award in its first show!
